Watson & Levy was established in 1912 by William Watson, who was succeeded by his son, Donald Watson in 1936. Both William and Donald Watson were British Overseas Members of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents. Both were highly respected practitioners and Donald Watson was a past president of the Argentine Association of Industrial Property Agents. William and Donald Watson were succeeded by Victor Levy, who took over in 1970. Luciana Levy succeeded Victor Levy and is currently the Senior Partner of the firm.

Currently, with 120 years of uninterrupted services, the partners and professionals who work at Watson & Levy provide a variety of IP services to a wide group of national and international clients.

Our firm specializes in Intellectual Property matters. Our services include preparing, filing and prosecuting patent, trademark and design applications in Argentina and, through associate firms, throughout the world. We could also coordinate filing programs in Latin American countries, including distribution of our Spanish translations to associates designated by our clients, and/or prosecute counterpart patent and trademark applications in Latin American countries through our own associates, if required by our foreign or local clients.

We also offer litigation services in respect of patent and trademark infringement, trademark oppositions, licensing and related matters, including domain name registration and litigation.
